Our Mission

Pleasant View Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Mission Church with a vision for lost souls. This Mission Church is reaching out to our community with the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We as a Mission Church help support other mission works both at home and abroad, with the desire to obey our Lord in the Great Commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Our Pastor


Our Pastor is Brother Bill Howard. He was born in Kentucky in February 1953 and Born Again December 7^th 1975 in Greenville, SC. He attended Beaver Creek Bible Institute in Inman, SC. Brother and Sister Howard were married May 17^th 1974 and have three wonderful children who are a great help in this ministry. Brother Howard was called to preach in April 1982. As a young preacher he started preaching on the street, on the radio and in the nursing homes while supplying in pulpits. In 1990 God definitely impressed upon the heart of Brother Howard to be a home missionary to Tucson, Arizona and to establish an Independent Baptist Church. Preacher Howard and his family arrived in Tucson in June 1993 and have been laboring in this mission field since.
